To provide a base for lasting adhesion, all surfaces should be clean, dry and free from contamination. A brush or roller may be used but care must be taken to achieve the specified dry film thickness. Jotamastic Aluminium should be applied with an airless spray. Recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, mining equipment and general structural steel. It can be applied at sub zero surface temperatures. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel and aged coating surfaces. Can be used as primer, mid coat, finish coat or as single coat system in atmospheric and immersed environments. Specially designed for areas where optimum surface preparation is not possible or desired. It is aluminium pigmented for improved barrier effect. It is a surface tolerant, high solids product.
