There is no way to make audio and video calls on WhatsApp Desktop. There is also a reduced feature set, with users only able to send and receive messages, listen to audio, view videos, and send/receive files. For a start, it requires a link with your smartphone WhatsApp application. If you use WhatsApp on Windows 10, you will know the experience is quite limited.
